Long Island Lutheran's Board, administration and staff believe
vision and planning are the keys to enduring success. With
that concept in mind, leadership at Long Island Lutheran is
constantly working to improve programs and facilities for
our students.
Our beautiful 32-acre campus was originally a Gold Coast-era
estate, discovered by founding families in the late 1950’s.
During the early years, a 2-story classroom wing, offices
and a gymnasium were added to the campus.
In recent years, and due to substantial support from many
members of the LuHi Family, we have been blessed to add the
following areas to our campus learning environment:
- Chapel/Performing Arts Center
- Library Renovation and Expansion
- Student Center/Dining Hall
- New Boys Locker Rooms and Renovated Girls Locker Rooms
- Daphne Seybolt Culpeper Prayer Chapel
- Foreign Language Laboratory
- Student Ministry Center/Student Commons/Bookstore
- Fitness Center
- Ammerman Center for Physical Education and the Arts
Additionally, annual support is made
available for academic enhancements and creativity, technology
innovation and upgrades, and Christian service activities. Plans
for the successful future of Long Island Lutheran reflect a
focus on college-preparatory learning, Christian life experiences,
and a personal feeling of “family,” prevalent throughout
the middle and high school experience.
While improving facilities on our campus
requires ongoing diligence and substantial funding, it is
important to note that continuing efforts are made to significantly
increase the school's endowment through planned gifts and
named scholarships. The Endowment Fund is responsibly managed
by the Memorial Endowment Board, alumni and friends of the
school with extensive expertise in the area of investment
and finance.

the school through a gift now, or a planned gift for the future,
