Each year prior to opening school Long Island Lutheran must perform a feat of tremendous proportion, transforming the campus from Summer Programs back to school use.
Organized by LuHi's Development Department, volunteers converge on campus to toil in the gardens and scrub the school classrooms and common areas. Following the clean up, at 2:00 p.m. is a pizza and pool party where students and parents have a chance to meet and mingle.
