In January 2008, Long Island Lutheran launched a campaign for the 50th Anniversary - ROOTED IN FAITH, GROWING IN EXCELLENCE. This 6-year campaign spans the Golden Anniversary in 2010 and supports a number of crucial projects at the school.
As funding for this campaign is received, goals will be completed, including: academic enrichment, advanced placement offerings, educational technology, and Christian service opportunities.
Completely renovated science laboratories, a sport turf field, renovations to outdoor game fields and tennis courts, and support buildings for outdoor athletics are the focus of the captial portion of the campaign.
Additionally, campus renewal, "green" projects, and library revitalization round out the goals.
Increasing the school's Endowment during this campaign will provide security for the future and scholarships for students in need.
As always, the campaign goals focus on our mission as "a Christ-centered, college-preparatory school...glorifying God by education young people in body, mind, and spirit."
